Craft-T-Carvers (CTC) is chartered as an RV chapter of the California Carvers' Guild. The CTC membership is mainly concentrated in southern California, although we have some members in northern California and in other states.

CTC holds a "campout" once a month except in July and August. Some of the campouts coincide with California Carvers' Guild carving shows, and the campouts tend to be in the same places each year (typically at an RV park with a clubhouse). The campouts officially begin on Thursday and campers usually leave Sunday morning.

Activities: Carving (usually a group " Carve-Along" with everyone carving from a provided blank) and crafts are done during the day. Each day usually winds up with a group "Attitude Adjustment" before the campers retire to their rigs for supper. Saturday morning begins with a group breakfast followed by a Board of Directors meeting and then an open business meeting. The Saturday evening "Attitude Adjustment" usually features a display of the "Carve-Along" carvings and the presentation of "bragging rights" for the best three or four carvings. Saturday concludes with a pot-luck dinner.

Classes: At times, carvers volunteer to give a class in their specialty. The carve-alongs are also a great learning experience. For the non-carvers, craft classes of various kinds are offered depending on the interest shown. Some past craft activities have included cloth flowers, baskets, holiday items, decorated sweatshirts, and calligraphy.
